2018 KEYNOTE SPEAKERS

The 2018 Leadership Awards Luncheon Keynote Speaker,  CHAIRMAN JOHN HOPE BRYANT, Bryant is the founder, chairman, and chief executive officer of Operation HOPE, Inc. the largest not- for-profit and best-in-class provider of financial literacy and capability empowerment for youth and adults; chairman and chief executive officer of Bryant Group Ventures and The Promise Homes Company, and co-founder of Global Dignity. The last five U.S. presidents have recognized his work, and he has served as an advisor to the last three sitting U.S. presidents. He is responsible for financial literacy becoming the policy of the U.S. federal government. In January 2016 Bryant became the only private American citizen to inspire the renaming of a building on the White House campus, when the U.S. Treasury Annex Building was renamed the Freedman’s Bank Building.

 

The 2018 Memorial Service Keynote Speaker, REVEREND DR. OTIS MOSS, JR Rev. Dr. Otis Moss, Jr. was raised in LaGrange, Georgia and received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Morehouse College. He received his Master of Divinity Degree from the Interdenominational Theological Center and the Doctor of Ministry Degree from United Theological Seminary. Currently pastoring the Olivet Institutional Baptist Church in Cleveland, Ohio, Rev. Moss has an impressive career in the ministry. He formerly served as co-pastor at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta and worked closely with the Senior Pastor, Dr. Martin Luther King, Sr. Rev. Moss enjoyed a close and personal relationship with Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and has continued his important work fighting the ills of our society. Active in many causes, he unceasingly pursues equal opportunity for all in making a more just society.
